Getting Started

Use the library's research page as your point of departure. Before starting your actual searches,

take a look at the library's How to Get Started page for help on topics like  evaluating information on the web, distinguishing between primary and secondary sources,  bibliography preparation, citation styles, off campus access and more.

Use CRUZCAT to look up the locations of newspapers and magazines in print (ie Süddeutsche Zeitung, Spiegel, FAZ).

You can also use Cruzcat to look up publications about the German press.

Gateways to German news sources

This site is a directory of Web sites in European Studies, contemporary Europe, text collections, book reviews, and guides to library resources. Most useful for this class is the "Newspapers and Other Sources" section.

DNND "bietet einen aktuellen Überblick der derzeit wichtigsten Nachrichten für den deutschsprachigen Raum und die Welt."
